CCA Manila's 10th Anniversary Celebration
Held in CCA Events Place (C3), Greenhills last November 18. I was assigned at the buffet table after prepping up just in case the guests has some questions regarding the menu. A lot of guests were allergic to a lot of stuff! Agh! Good thing no one was rushed to the hospital because I really could not remember some of the ingredients! tsk tsk! And no wonder those models are so thin! They only took shots of Gazpacho, the chilled veggie soup I made which I'm not proud of! Heny Sison was also there, but i never had the chance to talk to her. Sigh! Man, it was gruelling, but fun!

Take a risk. Be adventurous... spontaneous...I succumbed to the voices in my head and allowed a stranger to mess with my life a bit. Click. There goes my hair. For the first time in my adult life, I've got bangs. And it makes no difference.
Sigh. So much homework... but I'll take a rain check. Tomorrow will be a gruelling day.

So why do I have time to blog now? I quit my job. But this time, I have a good reason...I've blogged about wanting to be a chef since I was a kid. So when the opportunity came knocking at my doorstep, I grabbed it. "Don't think, blink" was again my motto. Well, it's not like I haven't thought about it; it's what I really want. But I think I love to eat more than I love learning to cook, emphasis on learning because I'm not really that good of a cook. Sigh! I hope two years is enough to turn clumsy me into an exceptional, devil-chopping iron chef. Good luck to my school!
My blogging skills, (if I have any), is rusty for not updating too much. My last post was October of last year. Whew! Anyway, school started last week. It was all about nutrition, sanitation and product identification (I have to master different kinds of mushrooms, legumes and lentils for this coming week's exam!). No hands on yet. We're still on the theoretical stage. So far, I'm enjoying it. Will keep you posted... see if I change my mind again. Hehe!
Oh and by the way, Happy Father's Day to all the dads!

When was the last time I laughed out loud? As in a real laugh until my stomach hurts? I really don't know. I was reading my friendster testimonials and I noticed that my friends in grade school and high school would say that I have a cute laugh. But my classmates in college would say that I'm usually quiet and is a crybaby. What happened to me? Before, I used to laugh at small things, but now, it would take probably a million clowns to make me laugh. But then again, I hate clowns!Hmm...
It's time to see mom! Hope it wouldn't rain today.

The last face I saw today. I wanted to invite him in for coffee or something. But I acted as if I wanted to get rid of him right away. The more I like the person, the more I push them away.

I ate too fast. I ordered coffee instead of orange juice. My purpose was to kill an hour and a half at McDonald's so I can go to this clinic which opens at 8am to have another urine test so I can claim my health card. Apparently, my red blood cells are higher than normal and the company wants to make sure that they didn't hire someone with a serious illness! Urine doesn't smell good if you drank a lot of coffee. And what a perfect timing! McDonald's offers free coffee refills until 10am! It's kinda gross talking about urine when you just ate. But heck, I'm bored! I wish I could say I'm blogging from my laptop but McDonald's doesn't have wifi. And I don't have a laptop! Hehe! I'll post this probably tomorrow. I left my cell phone at home. Darn! My shift ended 45mins ago. It's either I read our training manual or act as if I'm writing a report. I preferred the latter obviously. Or I could just order another Big Breakfast! I ran out of coffee... should I get another cup? Hmmm... Kitchie and Jasmine keeps on singing "love ko 'to". But I don't mind. I'm singing along... This entry is a waste. October's almost over. Christmas is just around the corner! And I'm psyched! Did I mention how much I LOVE Christmas? I already started shopping for Christmas decors and I'm planning to buy a 7ft tree. I wish we have real pine trees here...
